Blog Income Report - How To Read This Page
At The Entrepreneur Ride Along, I try to be as open and transparent as possible. That is why I'm sharing my revenue and expenses, the real behind the scenes numbers from my websites. These are the websites that I've started and scaled. I want to show you real numbers so you know what to expect (and what's possible) when you launch your online business.
I want you to see what is possible when you start an online business, I want you to see the successes I am having (and the mistakes I am making) so that you can begin making money online. I will publish a new blog income report every quarter (after I pay my quarterly taxes) to show you my results from the previous three months.
Below, and in each upcoming blog income report, I will post three tables:
- Revenue
- Expenses
- Income
I will breakdown my real revenue and expenses for each one of my websites. Below these tables, I will give you some insight behind the scene into what I am doing with each blog, what happened during the last quarter, and how I plan to continue scaling.
And if this sparks some ideas for you, or encourages you to go out and start an online business for yourself, I encourage you to start today. If you just need some ideas, go ahead and download my five website ideas (the businesses I would start if I had more time). Enjoy!
Proof
For proof, and to show I'm not making these numbers up, I will include screenshots at the bottom of this blog from my Stripe account showing revenue generated from each business over the last quarter.

Blog Income Report - Summary
In total, quarter two was another great three months for me. May, with revenue of $11,047, was my best month EVER. Surpassing my previous best month that was around $10,000 in monthly revenue.
In total transparency, I don't know why May was such a good month. I suspect that my marketing efforts for AssociatePI from early 2020 (Podcasting + 40 new blogs) are beginning to pay off as my traffic and email subscribers have spiked over the last few months. This was one of my best months ever for AssociatePI.
I had a bit more expenses than usual in June, simply because I pay my webhosting on an annual plan, so I was hit with a $1,500 bill in June. But I was prepared! I use the Profit First system, so I had this money tucked away ready for this large annual fee.
Below, I will provide a bit more insight into each website's performance this quarter, and what to expect in the future.
AssociatePI
AssociatePI continues its strong performance in 2020, with another solid quarter. This quarter totaled just under $20,000 in revenue for the three months stretch.
In April I took a noticeable hit because of Covid, because testing centers closed. So, no one was buying my courses because they could not take their exams!
Sales rebounded nicely in May, with revenue of $8,791, after it was announced that students could take their exams virtually from home.
I am continuing to monitor the results of Covid, and the impact it has on AssociatePI.
See below for screenshot from Stripe, for proof of monthly revenue.

Pomsky Owners Association
Membership program sales remained steady, with a few members renewing their annual memberships and paying for a year in full (resulting in $1,520 membership revenue in April).
Book sales continue to hover around $200 per month, except for April when I ran a promotion for my email list to buy bulk books at a discount (resulting in $465 books sales).
In June, I finished the recording of an audio book version of my Pomsky training book. This is currently being reviewed by the ACX team and hopefully will be launched in Quarter Three of 2020.
Affiliate sales from Amazon continue to increase after implementation in January 2020. Reaching $189 in Amazon affiliate sales in June 2020 (total affiliate sales reached $280 in June, with the bulk being from Amazon).
See below for screenshot from Stripe, for proof of monthly revenue. Please note, this screen capture is membership fees only it does not include my affiliate revenue.

The Entrepreneur Ride Along
Throughout April and May I was tied up with my "build a business" coaching program. This consumed the majority of my time (in a good way) as I was coaching and helping members start their online business. One on one coaching and other revenue generation halted while I focused on delivering the most value to the members of my group. Though, a few affiliate sales did trickle in totaling $363 in revenue in May ($283 from Long Tail Pro and $80 from Thrive Themes).
I will launch another group coaching program in quarter three and continue to serve my paid coaching clients.

Next Quarter
I will be making a few major changes to my websites over the next quarter including:
- Launching a new group coaching program at The Entrepreneur Ride Along
- Launching an audio book for the Pomsky Owners Association
- Beginning website redesign for The Entrepreneur Ride Along (it's about time)
- Beginning website redesign for AssociatePI
- Updating courses for AssociatePI (I need to re-write four courses to keep up with exam changes)
- Migrating AssociatePI to a new online course platform
- Launching a textbook version of my online courses for AssociatePI through the Amazon KDP program.
